Jenny Hackney, LMHC

If you're a woman or teenage girl feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or the weight of past experiences, you don't have to navigate it alone. Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and finding a counselor you genuinely connect with can make all the difference. Jenny Hackney believes that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration. Her goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you work together toward meaningful change.

Jenny works exclusively with female clients ages 14 and older who are experiencing anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Her approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and personal story work, while recognizing the important connection between our emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being. Together, you’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.

Jenny earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary and my Bachelor of Science from Liberty University. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside women and adolescent girls from diverse backgrounds as they pursue healing, healthier relationships, and lasting personal growth. Whether you're seeking support during a difficult season or longing for deeper healing from longstanding wounds, Jenny would be honored to partner with you on your journey.
