Tyler Pickett, RMHCI

Tyler is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. He earned his Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Ball State University. 

With a background of 10 years in ministry, Tyler is passionate about helping people experience the love and healing of Christ in counseling. Utilizing the tools of psychology through a Christian framework, Tyler helps clients clarify their challenges and begin to take steps forward towards their goals. 

Tyler has experience working with a wide array of challenges such as grief, loss, anxiety, ADHD, low self-esteem, parenting, spiritual challenges and crisis, career problems, and ministry struggles. 

Tyler works with both adolescents and adults. He utilizes a number of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. 

In his free time, you can find Tyler making up silly games with his kids, playing disc golf, enjoying a sitcom or board game with his wife, obsessing over homemade pizza, and perfecting his dad jokes.
